Help Jesus Shine His Light Further

This young man is an inspiration to everyone he meets and shares the love of christ and does the work of God everyday! He has blessed me by being my friend and he shines his soul shine everywhere he goes. I want to help him go as far as he is called. Truly he is my brother, and a worker in the light! Let’s pay this forward friends!

His car caught on fire today, and something real just told me to do this.

I met Jarrod outside of the pub one night and he was just outside talking to folks. Not drinking or nothing and in my minds eye I knew he was there with the spirit of God in his heart. He didn’t act no kinda way and the discourse was genuine and authentic as a mountain, or the sea.

What he didn’t know was that I was not in a good place at all in my life. I truly believe that it was one of those mysterious ways in which the almighty moves that crossed our paths.

Since then we have gotten together and played some music and hung out. He is kin to one of my neighbors across the way, come to find out.

I don’t often reach out or try and do anything like this, but what led me to do this go fund me is this gentleman’s kindness and positivity. He didn’t know me from Adam, but still we struck up a conversation and followed through with plans to play some music. Well, we jammed a few songs and whatnot but the real testimony and the real deal is that he ministered to me at a time when and from a place or walk in life where I could recognize it, and wouldn’t turn it away.

He did that by not trying to front any agenda or preach or judge In any kind of way.

Just that fact was how God was able to show me and to continue to teach and guide me through a cold and hard world and to someone who was numb and who’s heart was hardened by drugs and alcohol and by a mountain of grief and anger, from losing too many shining people in my life. The Lord found a way to remind me that there is hope and reasons to not only keep living, but reasons to keep thriving and to rejoice and share that joy with others in spite of anything that has been put in our way.

I have only met a few others who have a gift and calling on them like this young man. I challenged his words and actions and tried to shake his footing in what he was doing. I played the devils advocate and questioned him rather pointedly, and cunningly. He did not waiver and what he could not explain in words he dismissed with his good nature and steadfastness in the spirit of why he was talking to a wretch like me.

So anyone who reads this just know that this truly come from the heart and Ole Morg don’t do this, but there are always exceptions and grace in this life.

One of my favorite sayings is:

It is in the shelter of each other, in which the people live.

I believe that because if it weren’t for the grace and kindness of others. I would not be here.

So give a little to a prince of a dude who is really and truly out here in the streets and the world shining a light to lead folks home!
