Help Jessica's Family Overcome Crisis

Hi, my name is Jessica. I'm fundraising for my son Donovan and our little family. Roughly a month ago our family was hit with some shocking changes.

In the span of 3 days my Donovan went from the funny, outgoing guy I knew to a total stranger. Paranoia, hallucinations, and erratic behavior had taken over my son. After a visit to the ER we were told that it could be the onset of schizophrenia and shortly after they sent him to a behavioral hospital in Dallas.

This tore my world apart. We made the drive that night to get him checked in. I know it was for his safety and own good, but as a mom, it was one of the hardest things Ive had to do. He was in there for almost two weeks, we visited him once a week and called him every day to stay connected. They discharged him the diagnosis of acute psychosis. He came home on a Saturday...by the following Friday we were back in the ER, and headed back to Dallas. My son is struggling and it kills me. When he is home, he can't be left by himself. He needs constant supervision, making it hard for everyone. We will, however, do what we have to do.

I have missed a lot of work because of everything going on...that's my baby, I never thought twice about being there for him, but Now my bills are piling up, my gas card is maxed from trips to Dallas, his medication is expensive and I can't keep up, especially since I keep having to miss work.

I'm just a single mama trying to make life work for me and my boys... I just need a little help doing so right now.
