Help Jessica Rebuild: A Fund for Family and Stability.

Hello, my name is Jessica, and I’m a 28 year old single mother of three facing a truly desperate situation. Currently, I'm embroiled in a heart-wrenching custody battle for my eldest son, Kenneth, and my youngest daughter, Lauren, against their grandmother, who holds joint guardianship. This has led to significant financial hardships for me, as I've lost access to the monthly support that was crucial for maintaining basic necessities. Without any prior notice, the funds were redirected to the grandmother, stripping me of the ability to keep a roof over my children’s heads or maintain transportation for work.
To make matters worse, I’m working two part-time jobs to try and make ends meet. Since my car has been repossessed, there are days I have no choice but to walk to work, further exhausting myself and limiting the already scarce time I have with my children. This situation not only affects our financial stability but also drastically reduces the quality time I can spend with my children, impacting our family bonds and their emotional well-being.
The repercussions have been severe: I’ve been forced to remove my children from my lease, which in turn has made me ineligible for government assistance, since I'm now sharing guardianship. I'm struggling to cover the rent for a three-bedroom apartment I can no longer afford, and the days I do have my children with me, I face the unbearable reality of not being able to provide food for them because I've lost my food stamps.
This situation is bleak, and I'm reaching out in hopes of finding support and a way to navigate these overwhelming challenges.
