Help Jessica Keep Her Family's Home

Hello, my name is Cindy Singletary, and I am Jessica's mother. She, in turn, is a mother to six beautiful children - four of whom are still living with her. They are her whole world, and she works very hard to provide a loving home for them. She is currently a full-time college student working hard to earn her nursing degree so she can provide a better future for her family.

Unfortunately, life has thrown some very difficult challenges her way. Through no fault of her own, she is having to function as a single parent as her husband is not able to be there right now. She has managed to keep a roof over their head and all that entails while keeping up with her full college schedule. Now the owners of her rent home have informed her that they are selling their rental property. They have offered to sell her the home for $65,000 in cash; however, as a full-time college student, she has not qualified for any mortgage lenders or alternative financiers, and she has applied to them all.

She and her family have lived in Hubbard for the past 9 years. Her children have grown up there, formed lasting friendships, and they truly love their school. It is a small-town school where they thrive from the personal time and investment of the wonderful teachers. She and her children have become deeply connected to this community - it's not just where they live, it's their home.

Jessica has searched other rental properties in the community and there are none. She is terrified she will have to uproot her children from the only place they've ever known - especially with their rental lease ending in September. Her goal is to raise $65,000 to purchase their home outright and give her children the stability they deserve. This is a hard ask for Jessica as she is very strong and tries very hard to not ask for help; however, she is humbly asking on behalf of her children.
