My name is Jessica, and I am reaching out for help as my three babies and I work to rebuild our lives after leaving an abusive situation. We lost everything we ever owned, and while it was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, I know it was the right one for my children and myself. The trauma of what we’ve been through is something we’re working to heal from every day, but I am determined to give my kids the safe, loving home they deserve.

Right now, we are trying to get into an apartment so we can finally have a place to call home. We need help with the basics—beds for my children, a few pieces of furniture, clothes for my 5-year-old, 3-year-old, and 5 1/2-month-old, pots and pans to cook our meals, and some toys to replace the ones their dad broke and trashed. Every bit of support will help us get off the streets and start over in a safe environment where my kids can feel secure and begin to heal.
