My name is Jessica and I am graduating nursing school in May. I have always felt compelled to help others in need and would love to make an impact in underserved communities where medical care is a luxury, not a guarantee. I am very passionate about delivering medical care and bridging the access to this much needed care. I have volunteered with Nurses With Purpose to travel to Guatemala in July to offer preventative and primary healthcare to these underprivileged communities. I will be working alongside a dedicated team of professionals offering much needed healthcare and screenings. This medical mission trip will allow me to spread knowledge and education and also provide support to these populations. I am seeking support to help raise funds to cover my costs associated with this mission trip including travel expenses and other essentials.
