On March 24th, 2025, my sister Jessica was involved in a horrific accident in Parsippany, New Jersey that has left her in the hospital with multiple injuries. What should have been an ordinary and quick walk to the store turned into a nightmare, and her road to recovery will be long, painful, and filled with challenges.

My sister was just walking the short distance from her home to a nearby business to grab some drinks for her and her family for dinner when all of a sudden she was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle forgot to put the car in drive after they were reversing out of a parking spot and the vehicle accelerated in reverse, going over the curb, sidewalk, and onto the patio area of the businesses while continuing to accelerate. The vehicle then struck my sister who was standing on the patio area. It pushed her backward several feet before hitting the building and pinning her against it. 

Jessica has sustained a severely injured right arm and multiple injuries and is facing multiple surgeries, medical treatments, and will need continuous care for a long road ahead.

Jessica and her husband Julio are unable to work at this time, and while they have two beautiful children waiting for their arrival home, they are left with the financial burden of medical bills, rehabilitation, and many daily expenses piling up.
