Help Jessica and Family Through Recovery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today on behalf of my little sister, Jessica. Tomorrow, she will undergo major abdominal surgery to remove a tumor, and her recovery will be long and difficult. She will be in the hospital for some time and out of work for a couple of months as she heals. This is already an overwhelming situation for anyone to face, but for Jessica, it comes with even greater challenges.

Jessica’s boyfriend, Travis, has been unable to work for months after suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in a car accident that left him in a ravine. The accident changed their lives dramatically, and his road to recovery has been a long and difficult one. With both of them out of work and two wonderful children, Bryce and Addy, to care for, the financial burden is becoming too much for them to bear alone.

Jessica has always been a fighter, and she’s never been one to ask for help. She’s one of the most hardworking and selfless people I know, dedicating her days to advocating for children who need extra care and support. She spends every weekday helping kids in need, always putting their well-being above her own. Jessica has never hesitated to put others first, but now it’s time for her to be the one who is cared for. It’s her turn to receive the support and kindness she so freely gives to everyone around her.

As a family, we’re all trying to be there for Jessica and help however we can. Unfortunately, I’m not in the financial position to assist her as much as I would like, and that’s why I’m turning to the community—those who know her and even those who may not but want to help someone who truly deserves it.

Jessica’s medical bills, household expenses, and the cost of raising two children are already stacking up, and they’re not even close to what she and Travis will be able to afford in the coming months. I want her to be able to focus on healing and spending time with her family, not stressing over how to make ends meet.
