Hi, my name is Megan Peterson. I am Jessi’s youngest sister. She recently discovered she has a rare blood cancer called Polycythemia Vera. Essentially, her bone marrow produces too many red blood cells and WAY too many platelets. Like all cancers, this type of blood cancer has no cure and will require treatment for the rest of her life. It is also a progressive cancer, so she could use the money for her medical expenses and other bills that have piled up trying to pay for all of her necessities. Anything will help!! Please help take some of the burden off of her while she’s going through this difficult and confusing time, and as she continues to face new and difficult challenges on her long journey ahead.
