My son, Jesse, spent much of his adult life struggling with substance abuse and living on the streets. It was truly heartbreaking for me. But over the last few years, he’s made a truly incredible turnaround. He’s been clean and sober for nearly two years now and, for the first time in his life, owns his own home.

Unfortunately, just when things were finally going well, disaster recently struck. During a heavy windstorm, a large tree came down and crashed onto his house. The damage is severe. The garage completely collapsed with Jesse's dogs inside at the time. Thankfully, they were unharmed. However, the rest of the house suffered major structural damage, and there’s a risk it could be condemned. This will not be covered by insurance.
