I'm asking for help for my ex-husband, Jesse & Lisa… who also happens to be my best friend of 30 years.

Life is complicated, but love, respect, and compassion guide us. And right now, they need help.

On Easter this year, Jesse experienced a serious medical emergency. A previously undiagnosed condition caused a perforation in his large intestine. After initial treatment and being sent home, he was rushed back to the hospital just hours later due to a severe infection and abscess. He came dangerously close to sepsis. Since then, he’s endured multiple hospital stays, home healthcare, and just this week — an emergency colon resection surgery.

The surgery was successful, and Jesse is now beginning the long road to recovery. Unfortunately, he is the primary income earner in his home, and while he did return to work briefly between hospital stays, it’s now expected that he won’t be able to work for at least a couple of months.

The emotional toll, financial stress, and uncertainty have been overwhelming for Jesse, Lisa, and their family. Medical bills, everyday expenses, and the threat of losing their home are mounting.

That’s why I’m reaching out — in hope and faith — to ask for your support. We're seeking to raise $12,000 to help cover living expenses, medical needs, and keep their family afloat during this critical time.
