Jake and Jess have always wanted to throw a spectacular birthday party! Last year, Jake threw his very first birthday party of his adult life, and his heart was absolutely overjoyed. Jess has NEVER had a birthday party before. This year, we've both found ourselves surrounded by beautiful, loving community, and together we want to celebrate that with a joyous shared birthday celebration in early March. Part of this is that our very favorite musical artist has offered to play a birthday set for us for an extraordinary discount! We also need to rent sound equipment and other elements of throwing a celebration. Both of us are currently unemployed, so this party is going to be a massive financial lift for us, and we would be deeply honored and touched by any contribution that our loved ones are willing to make to us having our dream event come to pass.
