Help Us Visit My Husband Serving Overseas for Christmas

Hi everyone,

This Christmas, all we want is to be with my husband and have our family together. He is currently serving overseas for a full year unaccompanied (without family) less than a year after he returned from a 7 month deployment. While we talk when we can, nothing compares to being able to hug him, sit beside him, and share even just a few days together during the holidays.

As many of you know, military life is filled with long stretches of separation, missed milestones, and hard goodbyes. Our kids and I have been doing our best to stay strong, but the holidays are especially hard without him home. This year, we could have a chance to visit him—but the travel costs are more than we can manage on our own. For me to fly with the two kids to Korea and back will be over $9,000.

Flights, lodging, and travel expenses add up quickly, and with the holidays approaching, prices are even higher. I’m asking for help to raise enough to cover these costs so we can be by his side for Christmas and to break up how long the boys have to go without seeing their dad. By the time this trip occurs, we will be 4.5 months into 12 months without him. Every dollar will go directly toward making this trip possible.
