Help Jerry Move Closer to Family for MS Care

Ashley here . I am creating this GoFund me to humbly ask for help on behalf of my uncle Jerry & his family. If you know him, you love him— if you don’t, and you know me…. I did NOT get my singing voice from him.

Jerry had been facing some mobility/cognitive decline the past couple of years.. including a little hearing loss. After years of working in loud facilities and the toll that work takes on your body, he figured it to just be aging. After surgery on his knee this past year, many of the mobility issues really “flared up.”

After many tests, scans, pokes, pricks, and analysis -Jerry was officially diagnosed with a progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

He has spent the past month ish in rehab on short term disability— but that runs out soon. Jerry needs more rehab and ultimately he and his family MUST move closer to family in either Tennessee or Kentucky.

This is where I am asking for help. I know the estimates for rentals in both areas and the cost of a one way U-Haul so I will itemize those below.

Some perspective: Jerry has always been a songbird— when he lost his hearing, he stopped playing guitar. His speech is impacted and so the songbird is quiet. Having Jerry closer means more support for him, my aunt Angie, and cousin Desaree.

If you have it in your budget to give— please consider, every little bit helps. And once we have them moved, we can make sure we rally around them to bring the song back to their hearts.
