Hi family and friends

I’m reaching out and asking for help during a really heavy time in our city. With everything happening in Minneapolis after the tragic murder of Renee Good, many families—especially those in low-income communities—are struggling more than ever. The stress, fear, and instability right now are very real.

As many of you know, my daughter goes to Jenny Lind Elementary. Our school serves a lot of families with high needs, and right now there just aren’t many parents who are able to organize or step up due to work schedules, transportation barriers, or just trying to survive day to day. Some of our families are simply trying to get food on the table.

I’m asking if anyone is able or willing to help in any way—whether that’s donating groceries, gift cards, funds to help with grocery shopping, or even sharing this post so it reaches someone who can help. Even small acts of support can make a huge difference for these families right now.
