This fundraiser is organized by Hannah Brawley, Joel Showalter, and Tamara Reed, in support of a dear member of the Plain City Community and a fellow co-worker at Daily Needs Assistance.

Jennifer Mejia-Flores is a part-time employee at Daily Needs Assistance, organizing and running the personal needs pantry, diaper distribution, Remembered Child Christmas Store, Back to School drive, and more. Jennifer has poured her heart into serving the Plain City Community, and we'd now like to rally support for what she and her family are going through.

We first met Jennifer when she came for resources at DNA a decade ago. Because she could speak Spanish we quickly pulled her into translating for us, and that began her engagement with DNA as a volunteer. As a single mom, she has faced many challenges, including a son who was born deaf and, most recently, a son who is battling stage 4 cancer. She is resourceful, creative, and a very hard worker. She works 2 jobs to keep food on the table and bills paid. Recently because of a situation outside of herself, her car was totaled and she now has to declare bankruptcy. We want to rally around her and help her raise funds to get another vehicle.

Let's help this woman who has helped many people get back on her feet. Any support would be greatly appreciated!
