Hello, my name is Zach. I'm fundraising for my wife and our family in this time of need.

On August 9th, my wife Jennifer and son Calder were T-boned by an individual who ran a red light here in Las Cruces. Thank God that they are both alive, first and foremost. The individual seems to have been under the influence at the time of the accident. Jennifer has sustained major trauma to her knee, partial tear of her meniscus, two herniated disks in her back, and head trauma, the degree of which we are still discovering. Calder our 6-year-old was thankfully unscathed in the accident but is undergoing therapy for psychological trauma.

I have taken FMLA from my job to care for my wife, who will need a wheelchair to get around for the foreseeable future. Our minivan was totaled in the accident as well, so after this rental is up, getting to her numerous appointments, our children to and from school and their appointments, becomes more difficult as we will have to rely on family and friends to help us around town.

I'm asking for any assistance that can be given to acquire a down payment on a new vehicle and monthly expenses, as I may be needed to assist my wife for quite some time.
