Have you ever poured your heart into cultivating something beautiful, only to have it unjustly squandered and torn apart?
My daughter, Jennah, is experiencing that exact struggle. This is why I’m helping her reclaim the future of the beloved business she has diligently grown. This isn't just about a company; it's about her passion, her livelihood, and the incredible service she and her team provide the community. This GoFundMe isn't only a request for help; it's an essential lifeline to overcome recent setbacks and ensure Jennah's vision can continue to flourish.

Mother’s Plea: Help My Daughter Rebuild After Betrayal

Hello, my name is Imani, and I’m writing this on behalf of my daughter, Jennah—because right now, she can’t speak for herself.

Due to ongoing legal constraints with her former husband, Jennah is unable to publicly share the full story of what she’s been through. But as her mother, I’ve witnessed it all—and I refuse to stay silent.

Jennah is a fighter. A giver. A young African American woman who built something beautiful out of next to nothing, in an industry that often makes it harder for women like her to thrive. But she beat the odds and nurtured her vision to success.

Nine years ago, with less than $4,000 and a heart full of grit, she launched her own salon, Brows & Meows. It became more than a business—it became a safe space for clients, women and men alike, to feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. Her team blossomed. Her clients adored her.

But behind the smiles, Jennah was enduring something no mother wants to watch her child go through.

The Truth She Can’t Say

Her marriage, which began with love and hope, turned into something painful and destructive. Her husband—not just her life partner but her business partner—systematically took from her: emotionally, financially, and professionally.

She stayed quiet. She protected others. And when it became too much, she walked away—on the advice of legal counsel, and at a great cost.

Jennah left the business she built from the ground up. She walked away from her income, her stability, her name—because it was the only way out.

Since then, she’s been fighting to rebuild her life, quietly carrying burdens most people don’t see. And because of legal restrictions, and her own personal trauma, she still can’t tell her story.

But I can.

Imagine watching everything you painstakingly built be ruthlessly taken and inequitably squandered by someone you once thought of as a protector, partner, and at the very least a friend. That is what happened to Jennah.

She’s Rebuilding—But She Needs Help

Jennah has since launched Bee Bare by Jennah, a new esthetics space built on the same values: integrity, healing, and care. And now she’s building Baebees Beauty Lounge—a space for beauty professionals and creatives to grow their own businesses.

She’s already helping others succeed—even as she quietly picks up the pieces of her own life, tirelessly working to restore her sanctuary, piece by piece, not just for herself but for all those who seek beauty and a safe haven.

We’re Asking for $25,000 To Help Jennah:

● Cover ongoing expenses for previous business
● Recover from financial losses caused by her former partner
● Build out and stabilize Baebees Beauty Lounge for herself and others

How You Can Help

Your support—whether it’s $10 or $1,000—means the world. It helps Jennah take back her future and continue creating safe, welcoming spaces for others.
● $50 helps with monthly essentials
● $500 helps towards a month of rent for her space
● $1,000 brings her closer to completing construction and launching fully

From One Mother to Many

If you’re a mother, a father, a sibling, or a friend—if you’ve ever watched someone you love suffer in silence, you know how hard it is to ask for help. But I’m asking now.
This fundraiser is a chance to support someone who truly deserves a village behind her. Whether you can contribute financially or simply share this with your network, thank you. Every single dollar helps cover rent, supplies, licensing, and the cost of keeping Bee Bare and Baebees Beauty Lounge going strong.

Please help my daughter rebuild what was taken from her. She deserves to thrive again—not just survive.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing in Jennah.

With love, hope, and gratitude,
Imani (Jennah’s mom)
