Hi, my name is Kelli McHugh and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.

Our sweet daughter, Jenna, 23yrs old is currently in the hospital at Cleveland Clinic, facing a serious condition. Doctors are preparing us for the very real possibility that she may need a liver transplant. As you can imagine, this has turned our world upside down.

I’ve had to take extended time off work to be by her side during this critical time—and to be her advocate, her comfort, and her strength. While we are doing everything, we can to stay focused on her healing, the financial strain is growing fast. Hospital stays, travel costs, bills, and everyday living expenses are piling up while our income has come to a halt.

We’re humbly asking for your support—whether it’s through a donation, a share of this page, or your prayers and positive thoughts. Every dollar helps lift a little weight off our shoulders so we can focus on what matters most: helping our daughter fight through this and heal.

Since end of January 2025 Jenna has been in/out of hospitals, we almost lost Jenna with Septic Shock due to infection in gallbladder. Jenna continues to have cholecystostomy tube to drain infection. So far tests indicate that the liver is causing the gallbladder to not function properly and the liver being very vascular and inflamed imposes a great risk for Jenna. If they were to just remove the gallbladder Jenna could hemorrhage during surgery and not make it. Jenna was born with congenital hepatic fibrosis, polycystic kidney disease and diagnosed with type l diabetes at age 15 and now seeing complications.
