Help Jenelle and Carrie Bring Grace to Belize
Tax deductible
Hello! Welcome to our GoFundMe fundraiser for the Barefoot Children Ministries of All Saints Parish, St. Peters.
We, Jenelle and Carrie, are going on our 1st mission trip in March 2025 to the "Forgotten District" of Belize.
We would like to raise funds for the cost of the mission trip as well as extra funds for the ministry's mission.
Travel costs are $2,000 per person, which does not include our immunizations or passport fees. We have set a goal of $4,000 in donations to cover our travel costs and an additional donation of $1,000 to the ministry for a total goal of $5,000!
When Jenelle shared that she was going to be of service on a mission trip for her parish, I was immediately intrigued as both of us are focusing on our soul development, and I have always wanted to contribute my time, effort, and heart to a mission trip. Yet, this is an extra special trip since I have a soft spot for working with children. As a former educator, I miss the times in the classroom with the laughter as well as the challenges.
"Grace in Action" has been a personal mantra for a while now. Grace has been key in my life path and spiritual experience. In fact, I refer to the world around us as the Field of Grace.
We have been beyond blessed, and now we are going to be this Grace in Action in Belize with your help!
With Love & Grace,
Jenelle and Carrie

About the March 22-31, 2025 Belize Mission:

Belize is in Central America, south of Mexico and east of Guatemala. It is a small country with a population of approximately 417,000. Toledo, the southernmost district in Belize, is often referred to as the “Forgotten District” due in part to limited road access. About 80% of the people are extremely poor and live in highly disadvantaged conditions.
Mission Team Projects:
1) Education: Volunteers will visit schools in Otoxha, Dolores, and Machakil Ha to teach and assist teachers presenting lessons in a variety of subjects. Volunteers will also distribute personal healthcare items and school supplies.
2) Construction: Volunteers will repair and improve school facilities in three schools and paint the school in San Lucas.
3) Elderly Enrichment: Volunteers will provide recreational activities for the elderly and distribute gently used eyeglasses.
4) Conservation: Volunteers will provide families with garden seeds and established fruit tree seedlings.
