Help Jen and Mike Dean Rebuild After Devastating Fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
We are writing to you today with a heartfelt request to help our kids, Jen and Mike Dean, rebuild their life after a fire that destroyed everything.
At 4:45 AM Thursday morning, October 10, 2024, Jen and Mike woke to the sound of breaking glass. Within 45 seconds and attempting to extinguish the fire coming from their kitchen, they were forced to exit their home with their dog, Willow. (Dinah, their cat, didn’t make it.) Within 5 minutes, several fire departments were on site trying to extinguish a fire that fully engulfed their home in Brooklyn Park.
We arrived to find our kids safe and unharmed (Thank God), wrapped in blankets and in the back of an ambulance. Todd, the fire marshal, told them several times how lucky they were to be alive, 2 more minutes it could have been a different outcome.
As you can see by the photo, Jen and Mike have literally lost everything. One can only imagine what the next days and months will bring as they navigate finding someplace to live and rebuilding everything: their home, important documents, computers, personal necessities—the list seems endless.
We humbly ask for your support in helping Jen and Mike. Any contribution, no matter how small, is so greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much,
Jen & Mike’s parents
