Sue and Jeff Campbell have always been the heart of their Bethel, Ohio farming community. Jeff has spent his entire life working the family cattle farm, a tradition that spans decades. Sue, once a city girl, found her home and her heart in the country, where she and Jeff built a life rooted in hard work, humility, and a deep love for their land and neighbors. Known for their selflessness, Sue and Jeff are the first to lend a hand when friends or fellow farmers need help, embodying the spirit of their close-knit rural community.

On Saturday, September 27, Jeff suffered a serious accident on the farm, falling headfirst into a grain combine. While the machine was off, the impact left him with severe lacerations and a fractured neck. After emergency care and assessment at Anderson Mercy and Jewish Hospitals, Jeff now faces surgery and a long road to recovery. The next three weeks are especially critical, and most of his healing will take place at home, surrounded by Sue, their two loyal cats, and their pack of four dogs. While this brings comfort, it also means Jeff will be just steps away from the fields and cattle he loves, unable to help with the fall harvest or daily chores.

With Jeff on long-term disability and Sue working part-time without paid leave, their regular income is severely reduced. Immediate needs include daily living expenses, hiring local help to manage the harvest, and covering medical deductibles.
