My name is Beatriz , my boyfriend Jeanpier Rodriguez was detained by ICE on Monday 6/18/18. He is currently being held in Kenosha,WI. The process can take anywhere between months to years. I have spoken to an attorney and they have suggested the first step is to petition for him to have a bond until his immigration court date. The cost for this bond is unknown but usually starts at anywhere between $5,000-$10,000. If he is given a bond he would be able to come back home to his family. We have an 8 month old daughter, and she may be little but she senses something is not right. She misses her dad singing to her at night and their special car ride song. He only has my daughter and myself in this country as help to keep our family together. There are many expenses in this process including an immigration lawyer to help him fight his case.  I am asking for any help I can get for my family. We are not giving up on this, we are going to fight and do everything in our reach to keep us together.  Anything will help us even if it's a simple share to this.  If anyone knows of any legal help or advice that can help too. We appreciate anything . All we have left to do is pray and wish for the best upon our family. No one deserves to go through something like this .
