Jeanne Schaefer is a dear friend I’ve known for 15 years. At 77 years old, she lives alone in a rural area, far from family and friends, and has always been someone who gives selflessly to others. Jeanne is one of the most God-fearing women I have ever met, and her heart is filled with love and kindness. She has supported me through difficult times, and now I want to help her in her time of need.

Recently, Jeanne’s only vehicle, a 2001 Toyota, stopped working. Living in a rural area, reliable transportation is essential for her to get to important appointments, buy groceries, and stay connected with her community. Without a car, she’s been stranded at home, unable to attend medical appointments or even get the basic necessities. On top of this, Jeanne needs dental work for health reasons, but she cannot afford the care she needs. This has forced her to change her diet and made it even harder for her to maintain her health.
