Today I met a mom named Jeane.

I asked her if she was having a good day, and she told me she was actually having a really hard time.

So I gave her a present with $500 inside.

She immediately began to cry and shared what she and her 6-year-old son have been going through.

Right now, they’re homeless and living out of their broken-down car. They have no family nearby and nowhere else to go.

Jeane is trying to go to school so she can get a good job and build a better life for her son, but every time she tries to get ahead, it feels like something else knocks them back down.

Hearing her talk about trying to stay strong for her little boy broke my heart.

No mom should have to wonder where her child is going to sleep at night. And no 6-year-old should have to call a broken-down car home.

Jeane isn’t giving up on her son. Let’s not give up on her.
