Hello, Salam… we’re Jean Carlos & Jenny (Jamila). For those that may not know, we’re a loving couple together now for almost 6 years. We met each other at a pivotal time in our lives—a time when love, compassion, honesty, and devotion were lacking. But God put us together, and since this time, we’ve found these very qualities in one another. We have a beautiful blended family. My husband JC works extremely hard; he’s never been in trouble with the law. Jean Carlos is a loving father to his 10 yr old son Carlitos, an absolutely loving child, that arrived here at only 2 yrs old.. Carlitos was diagnosed with autism & had flourished here in the states with the services he’s gotten & has been on the honor roll for the past two yrs, my husband is extremely worried about the lack of services for Carlitos back in their native country… and lastly I’ll add, JC also takes care of him mom but is younger sister that has Down syndrome, my husband is the only child to his mother besides his sister … she’s 27 but in essence is only about maybe 3 yrs old .. my husband deserves and needs to stay here, please find it in your hearts to help !! JC applied for asylum from his native country, Venezuela, about 8 years ago and has since been working nearly every day, long hard hours, paying taxes, and being a model visitor to our nation! Just recently, JC was sent his asylum appointment after nearly 8 years of waiting. But with the current administration, we’re frightened beyond anything I could explain!!! It came with about 30 days' notice, and we have no idea what to expect. We ask that you help us with anything possible or spread the word about our GoFundMe to find a reputable asylum lawyer. Any money received will be to find a lawyer for JC and, hopefully not, but to help us relocate if he’s deported.
