Help Jayda, Alex and Blaise Through This Tough Time

I’ve witnessed a miracle that I want to share ….
“. . . boy meets girl on AA campus and love follows at first sight . . .”
Anyone who is familiar with this reading, knows it is a risk.
But this is not the case for these two recovering "thirtysomethings."
Their spiritual bond of love in recovery supports The Promises' message that "They will always materialize if we work for them....they are not extravagant.
They decided to get pregnant. In record time, they did. Life continued to evolve until SEVEN months later, when Jayda Dee made her premature “premier” at Sierra Vista. She was rushed to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), where she will stay for 4-5 weeks depending on her development. At two months premature, the little fighter weighed in at 3lbs,5ozs, 14”, and breathing on her own.
The difficult delivery and having to leave baby Jayda was very traumatic. After her first visit with Jayda, Alex’s extreme sorrow and despair likely contributed to her major seizure that night; coupled with her history of brain cancer. She was transported via ambulance to Marian Hospital in Santa Maria and is receiving treatment for continuous seizures...30 in total.
Baby and Mother are further apart and as of March 28, Alex remains hospitalized. Daddy has his hands full managing two locations, keeping household going, attending daily meetings and keeping his sanity and faith that “it’s God’s will.”
Blaise’s employer has graciously allowed him to take a two-month leave of absence to care for his new family (thank you for your service, Sean).
This is where we need your help. Please consider donating towards their daily living expenses (rent, utilities, food, gas, insurance, expected medical bills, etc.) plus the additional cost of their baby.
Your gift brings needed comfort as this family transitions through a "life event."
My heart is full and for that I am grateful.
Great Grandma Kathy
Update: Alex was released March 27. Jayda remains in the care of Sierra Vista Hospital. Blaise and Alex visited with their little daughter last night.
