We come to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help. My beloved brother, Jay, recently faced an unimaginable challenge when he had to undergo the amputation of his leg due to severe infection. Jay’s wife, Rosie, has been an incredible source of strength throughout this ordeal, but now she faces the challenge of being home full-time or reduced hours, to care for Jay during his recovery. As a result, she will be unable to work for an extended period of time, or only part time, which will create a significant financial strain on their family. On top of that, the medical costs after Jay's surgery, rehabilitation, prosthetics, and ongoing care are overwhelming.
