Help Jay Glenn-Harris Rebuild After Job Loss

Hey everyone my name is Jay Glenn-Harris also known as Fdh Frank the content creator. Just a earlier this morning , I had been working full-time at 100 Midtown Student Living in Atlanta, GA, a place I truly loved. I moved 15 hours from Rochester, NY, with nothing but faith, ambition, and the hope of building a better future. But now, after an unexpected job loss, I’m facing homelessness once again—and any help would be much appreciated. I’m sharing my story in the hope that it reaches someone who sees me—not just for where I am now, but for how far I’ve come.

I’m 24 years old and the oldest of five siblings, raised by an incredibly strong single mother who served 8 years in the U.S. Army. Our life has never been easy—we moved from El Paso, Texas to Silver Spring, Maryland with our grandparents, to Southeast D.C., and eventually to Rochester, New York, where I grew up. Despite instability and constant moving, I found purpose in athletics. I became a 2-time New York State champion in the 200m and 400m. I pushed through everything life threw at me and used that same drive to chase a new beginning in Atlanta.

I’ve always taken pride in my work ethic. I showed up early, stayed late, never missed a day, and did everything in my power to support my residents and team. My goal was to bring positivity, energy, and consistency to the community I served. Residents knew me by name, looked forward to our conversations, and left amazing reviews that reflected the impact I made.

What many didn’t know was that while I showed up every day with a smile, was on time every day, stayed late, and connected with residents I had been living in my car, barely eating and showering at gas stations or a friends house when possible.

Recently, I was blessed with a breakthrough: I was approved for my first apartment through Greystar’s employee housing program, with a move-in date of May 2nd. It was a huge step toward stability. But just a week before this move, I was suddenly terminated due to a misunderstanding involving company policy—despite everything I had given to the role.
I showed up every single day with energy, positivity, and a deep belief that something better was coming.

I use content creation as my outlet—it’s my escape, my way of sharing joy, and my way of reaching people through music 80s, 90s and 2000s R&B. Some of my videos have gone viral, and touched millions of people and I’m holding on to the hope that my story can touch the right circles once again. Im not looking for pity just understanding, and to be heard. A chance to get back on my feet and stay focused and as dedicated as I have been throughout the years.

Anything helps—whether it’s $5, $20, or simply sharing this page. I’ve always fought for a better life—not just for me, but for my family. I’m not giving up now. If you can help in any way, even a share or a word of encouragement, I’ll carry it with me as I take the next step.

Thank you for reading my story. I’m not giving up, and with your help, I won’t have to. Im very big on stating that your current situation is no one’s forever situation so don’t have even the slightest idea of giving up .

With love, appreciation, and gratitude,
