We are reaching out to share the story of an incredible 7-year-old boy named Jaxson who is in need of your support.

Jaxson is a bright, kind-hearted little boy who is on the autism spectrum and is non verbal. He’s always had a smile that could light up a room, and his family cherish every moment with him. However, the start of this year has been incredibly difficult for Jaxson and his loved ones. His health began to deteriorate rapidly, and despite the family's best efforts, things took a sudden and worrying turn.

Jaxson has recently been diagnosed with Mazabraud syndrome and Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia (PFD), a rare and progressive bone disorder. This condition causes abnormal growth of fibrous tissue in multiple bones, leading to pain, fractures, and deformities. As a result, this has currently demobilized him. Jaxson will need regular surgeries throughout his life to stabilize and secure bones weakened by the disease and scar tissue. These surgeries are necessary to prevent further fractures and complications and to maintain mobility and quality of life. In addition to the challenges with PFD, Jaxson also needs genetic testing to identify any additional underlying conditions that could affect his health and inform future treatment options.

Jaxson is currently to and from Alder Hey Children's Hospital, where he’s receiving specialized care and procedures. His condition has caused significant challenges in his daily life, and the doctors are working tirelessly to figure out the best course of treatment to help him get back to being the happy, energetic boy he once was.

As you can imagine, this has placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on Jaxson’s family. The cost of travel, and other expenses related to his care is overwhelming. That’s why we’re asking for your help.
