My name is javid, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My family’s home in Petersfield Westmoreland Jamaica was completely destroyed by the recent hurricane that tore through our community. In just a few hours, everything we built over the years — our home, our memories, and all our belongings — was washed away.

My parents and siblings lost everything inside the house — clothes, furniture, important documents, and food. Right now, they are struggling just to find a safe place to sleep and a warm meal to eat. The roof is gone and what remains of the house is unsafe to live in.

Despite this devastation, we’re holding on to hope. My family has always been proud, hardworking, and community-oriented. But this disaster has left us with nowhere to turn but to the kindness of others.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help them get back on their feet — to buy food, clothing, and essential supplies, and to start rebuilding a roof over their heads. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference in helping my family rebuild their lives and find stability again.
