Help Jason and family after recent car accident in Englewood
Donation protected
I'm sure most people have heard about the accident that happened in Englewood on Wednesday last week. My brother-in-law, Jason, was involved in a serious accident where a man in his 90s pulled out of Babe's Hardware and hit him, causing him to spin into the other direction of traffic, and it caused several vehicles to be involved. He was sent to the hospital along with the others, but nobody had life-threatening serious injuries that we know of. However, his work truck is totaled; it was their only company vehicle. The insurance claims will take time, and for him to get back to work, his boss is trying to acquire a new truck and machine to set him up for when he's better and able to return. As most know, he's worked in flood and fire damage restoration and cleanup for nearly 30 years. He's seen and cleaned up after every major storm in that time and had just gotten busy again after the last two hurricanes. My sister Nina has also not been back to work since before Helene came through because of the damage and flooding in Boca Grande. So they are both currently not working now as a result of this accident.
If you all know Jason, you know he's kind, hardworking, and has the best sense of humor, which is hard to maintain after all this. So I wanted to do something to help them, as the holidays are also coming and this has set them back big time, financially. So even if you can't donate, a simple sharing of this post would be amazing and appreciated greatly. I'm hoping this relieves some of their stress and gives them something positive, and one less thing to worry about. Every bit makes a difference!
