Hello, my name is Nice, and I’m a single mom of two beautiful children — James, my 11-year-old son, and Jasmyne, my 9-month-old baby girl. We are currently facing one of the most difficult times of our lives.

We recently escaped a domestic and family violence situation that left us homeless, emotionally broken, and financially struggling. We’re currently in temporary accommodation in Australia, trying to stay safe and start over.

This situation has deeply affected not only our finances but also our emotional, mental, and psychological wellbeing. My son James’s schooling has been disrupted because we had to move to a different state for safety, and I’m unable to work at the moment as I care for my baby full-time.

Despite everything, I’m determined to rebuild a safe, loving, and stable home for my children — a place where we can heal, grow, and start fresh.

The funds raised will go toward:

• Securing long-term housing for us

• Essential needs (food, clothing, baby supplies)

• Education support for my son James

• Counselling and recovery programs to help us heal from trauma
