My daughter Jasmine was ambushed at court since we were not able to afford a lawyer and legal aid declined her case. The temporary court order was to give her ex full custody of their baby. We are all beside ourselves that yesterday the judge decided to take her nursing baby away from her. Jasmine is an amazing mother and woman and is in anguish over them taking her baby from her. The process in court centered around things from my past, my husband’s past, and Jasmine’s father’s past, and not around any of our current wonderful lives. The final court hearing will be scheduled next week and we need help to get her an attorney that can fight for what is right. This shows that the other party’s money, manipulations, and flat-out lies on the stand actually do work for their benefit. Please help us so that Jasmine doesn’t have to be alone in the courtroom being the only one defending herself. They would not allow us in the courtroom with her.
