On Saturday, April 11, 2026, I experienced a life-changing accident when I fell off a truck and broke my ankle. My fibula was fractured, several ligaments were torn, and I suffered a concussion. I know that the incident was funny and all, but I did get seriously injured and I do not think it’s funny at all! The severity of my injuries meant I had to undergo multiple surgeries, with the first one taking place just yesterday. Now, I am on strict bed rest for the next six weeks, making it impossible for me to work or care for my two young boys as I normally would. They depend on me every day, and this sudden change has been incredibly difficult for our family.

The financial strain is overwhelming. With no way to earn an income, I am struggling to cover basic expenses like bills and food for myself and my children. On top of that, there are medical costs for medicine and necessary supplies that I need to recover. Every day brings new challenges, and I am doing my best to stay strong for my boys, but I can’t do it alone. I really, truly dislike asking anybody for anything, but I really have to need it to even ask.
