Help Jared Heal: Open-Heart Surgery & Recovery
Donation protected

Hey there. Many of you know what a crazy year it’s been for our family. It unfortunately has gotten crazier.
My dad (Jared) is having open-heart surgery very soon. Today, 7/30, he had a heart catheterization revealing multiple blockages in his heart after having 2 episodes of flash pulmonary edema within a month. He was admitted into the hospital Sunday night, 7/27, and will likely be here for another week. After he gets discharged, he will have a long recovery period, rendering him unable to work for a while.
I want to help them as much as possible by alleviating some financial burden as they focus on his recovery and health. They would appreciate all the prayers and good vibes in the upcoming days.
Update 8-1-2025: At 8 a.m. tomorrow morning Jared will be going in for a quadruple bipass surgery. The Doctor here at Mercy Joplin that we wanted couldn't get him in until August 8th. He recommended Dr. Dali from Mercy Springfield. Krystal went to work finding out all she could about the Doctor and asking other staff that work in Cardio. He comes very highly recommended with 5 star ⭐ reviews. Dr. Haroon that recommend him said that with Jared's age, and all the other factors he should do great. I will come back tomorrow and give an update as the day goes.
Ok for the ones that knew about Jared having the flash Pulmonary Edema in June and the hospital not finding anything. Then the only thing the PCP could think of that fit was secondary drowning. Will July 22nd he had a chemical stress test and they said everything looked ok. On the 27th at 8 pm (same time as June 11th) it happened again. This time Grove got him stable and sent him to Mercy Joplin. After a look at his stress test report and another echo they have found he has congestion heart failure mild - moderate. He went to the Cath lab today in hope of placing a stent or two. After an house they came out and got me, the Doctor wanted to talk with me in the controll room. I found out that they couldn't place any stents. He has 3 blockages over 70% with one at 100%. They brought him back to his room and ran a bunch more test and scans. If all look good they will be doing open heart surgery with a triple bypass. We will not know untill tomorrow when surgery will be or if his leg veins will support the Graf. One I know for sure I will update on this post. We love you all and ask for prayers.
