Help Jared and Miriam Rebuild Their Lives

For more than 2 years, the #1 desire of their hearts was to have children. They spent tens of thousands of dollars working with doctors and doing IVF treatments.

Finally, a baby was on the way!

But the joy was to be short-lived. :(

Precious little Dantzel Eve Boswell died in her infancy. Jared and Miriam buried her just over a month ago.

Their grief is immeasurable… even as immeasurable as is their faith and trust in God. They have stayed firm and joyful, even in the face of their horrible loss.

But the devastation in their lives - or the blessings from God to grow in faith and strength, however, you want to see it - did not end there.

In an effort to be frugal and wise, they bought a small, fixer-upper camper, a pickup truck to haul their new home and moved out of their apartment. The plan was to live in the trailer, save up and buy a home.

As an act of love, they moved to Arkansas to help me and the rest of the family remodel an old farm home.

On the way across the country, that old truck blew the transmission… costing them many thousands more to get back on the road.

But it didn’t end there…

Last night (Sunday, 25 June 2023) at 6:11pm, a massive mid-west storm blew up. Straight-line winds were over 95mph. Miriam and Jared’s camper - their home - was parked under a massive oak tree that has stood firm for more than 100 years.

But it didn’t stand firm on this might. The wind ripped it out of the ground and it came crashing down on Jared and Miriam’s home. Everything was completely and totally destroyed.

I know they have a lot of people that know and love them. Even in the middle of their loss and sorrow, they have spent countless hours serving and giving and helping others. They are amazing disciples of Jesus Christ and totally selfless.

They would never ask for help… but I am asking for them.

If 1,000 people would help them with just $10, it would help them get back on their feet.

Nothing can give them back little Dantzel, whom they lost…

But money can buy more IVF treatments. And money can buy new clothes and food and maybe another little camper.

As a family, we are doing all we can. They have a place to stay and food to eat right now. They are safe.
