Help Jaquavious Jones get a Real Lawyer!

My friend Jaquavious Jones aka Lil Patt is currently at the whim of the Cobb County Prison System. He's 19 years old, and they are charging him with possession of a firearm with zero evidence. The court applied attorney assigned to him isn't doing any work on the case to drop the charges, and his court date is June 30th. They've given him a plea deal of 20 years, serve 10. He's already been sitting in jail for over a year without bail. The system is using some charges that happened while he was a minor to increase his sentence. They are breaking many laws while doing this, but without a real lawyer he has no hope of combatting the system. I was able to contact a lawyer who is willing to work the case for the discounted price of $5,000 but we need to get the funds together before his trial on the 30th. Cobb County is notoriously unjust and difficult to navigate. Our lawyer has lots of experience dealing with their system and feels very confident he can get the charges reduced and possibly dropped all together. Patt is a great friend of mine, he's so bright and extremely talented. He dreams of becoming a full time musician, which I have no doubt he can do but we have to get him out of jail first. If he has to serve 10 years his chances of still making a music career will be greatly reduced, and his entire 20s will be spent inside a cell. Please help us get Jaquavious back in the studio and back to his family and friends!!
