Pictured is Janet Jones, Grandmother of our family. Janet has been diagnosed with terminal heart failure, has a pacemaker-maker, scleroderma, and rheumatoid arthritis has crippled her body. She recently suffered a traumatic fall that broke two ribs, fractured 12 other bones, major head injuries, and severe osteoporosis makes any hope of healing or getting better not possible at this stage in life. Her mind, her brain is still Janet. Her body however is failing her. A bit about Janet and her husband, Dennis & Janet’s love affair started when she walked into his class and he laid eyes on “the new girl” in the 9th grade. Life separated them briefly in their adulthood, they married other people, but each other again and have been married almost 40 years. Their love is what you see in movies - the kind you dream about - the kind you aspire to. Janet is a woman of God, she has prayed a hand of God over our family for decades. She has 3 kids, 8 grandkids, and 6 great grand children. Dennis is a veteran of the Vietnam war. He was drafted and served his country and was one of the furtunate men who made it home. Dennis since being home has dedicated his life to being the best husband, dad, and grandad to our family.

Hospice was offered, but death is pushed and expedited - usually within 47-72 hours of increased pain med administration.

Janet wishes to go home where she feels comfortable and at peace, and live whatever time she has left with her loved ones. Its almost impossible for us to afford hospice at this time without the help of this fund, Non-skilled nursing care is not covered by any insurance. If one cant afford it, you go to a nursing home, away from your family which is not what Janet wants.

Please help us be able to provide the care Janet needs to be able to go home safely, be allowed to pass at her pace, and not be separated from her spouse and family - her body isn’t going to hold out much longer.
