Hello friends,

I want to share Janelle and Chase’s story with you. They’re living day-to-day in a motel in Temecula, CA after being abandoned by Janelle’s ex-partner, who also destroyed their only car when he left. They now have no transportation and no stable place to stay.

They’re waiting for their housing to come through, but it could still take months. In the meantime, they desperately need somewhere safe to stay. Today is Janelle’s last paid night at the motel. Someone is covering the next three days to give them a small window of breathing room, but after that… they truly have nowhere to go.

Chase is 22 and has special needs, and Janelle is doing everything she can to protect him and hold their world together. No one should have to face this kind of fear and uncertainty alone.
