Have you ever experienced courage under fire?

My friend Laurén has. And I couldn’t be more proud of the woman she is becoming as she navigates these extremely challenging times.

I met Laurén through a program called The Experiment where we connected as earth sisters with similar missions. And now as she faces losing it all I couldn’t NOT step in and reach out to our local community for immediate relief, help, and aid.

This is a HUGE act of courage from Laurén and I want to start by honouring her courage in leaning into her friends and network in asking for help.

As women we are taught that asking for help is weakness and so many of us suffer in silence because of this.

Well Laurén is breaking this generational cycle and creating a new pathway of possibilities for ALL women - starting with herself.

Originally Laurén asked to be anonymous. But now? She’s ready to lead herself and her family with pride and dignity through hell in order to come out the other side as an example of what’s possible when women rise up, lead, and truly support each other.

So allow me to introduce you to The Rays (Laurén and Billy) who are currently in a very challenging financial position. A position no young family ever wants to be in.

The Rays have 2 children under 3 and are expecting their third.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, building medical bills, and family increasing needs, this family is now having to reach out for help. Having tried everything in their power to make ends meet they are at the dreaded deadline of having to pay medical bills and rent NOW or they risk the unthinkable.

So I am reaching out into the loving embrace of sisterhood, family, and friends and asking for emergency funds to help keep this family together and safe.

Every dollar counts. Every dollar contributes to literally saving their lives and creating opportunities for this family to survive the unthinkable and in turn, give back when it’s someone else walking through the fire.

We are fundraising for $10,000 to cover their living and medical expenses for the next few months. Just enough time to secure the resources they need to land back on their feet.
