Anyone who has stepped foot in the Court Diner in Media has likely had the pleasure of being served by Jane. She brings joy, laughter, fabulous earrings, and the best cat stories to every table. She has such a soft spot for kids, and every child who sits in her section feels her warmth and care.

Jane grew up in Media, attended local schools, and comes from a family deeply rooted in this community. She truly represents the heart of our close-knit town.

This week, Jane experienced significant water damage in her apartment when a pipe burst above her unit, pouring water into her bathroom and kitchen for over two hours. The damage has been extensive. Her bathroom and kitchen will need to be fully gutted, and the flooring throughout the unit must be replaced. She will be displaced from her home for an extended period while repairs are completed.

While she does have renter's insurance, the reality is that there are immediate out-of-pocket expenses, deductibles, and temporary housing costs before reimbursements are processed.

Jane did not ask for help. This fundraiser is simply our community coming together to support someone who shows up for all of us every day.
