Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,

I’m creating this fundraiser for someone incredibly special to me, my best friend Jamila. If you know her, you already know her heart. For years, Jamila has opened her home and cared for children with a level of love, patience, and devotion that is rare and beautiful. The families she serves don’t just drop off their children they become part of her extended family.

My own family has been blessed by her care, and I’ve seen firsthand how she pours into every child who walks through her door. She celebrates them, comforts them, guides them, and creates a safe place where they can learn and grow. Jamila is truly loved by many, and the impact she has made in our community is immeasurable.

She is looking to expand her daycare, and while the inside is ready for her little learners, the backyard still needs major safety renovations before more children can play outside. This space is important, it’s where kids run, explore, laugh, and build confidence. But to meet updated childcare licensing standards, several improvements must be made.

Jamila has always given so much of herself to others. Now, I’m hoping our community can surround her with that same love and support.

To ensure the children have a secured, enclosed outdoor area.

• Gate repair and safety latches

2. Playground Flooring (Soft-Surface Safety Ground) $2,000

Required for childcare safety standards.

Includes:

• Rubber mulch or padded turf

• Base and leveling

• Installation

3. Age Appropriate Playground Equipment $2,200

Items designed for toddlers and young children:

• Climbing structure

• Small slide

• Activity station

• Outdoor toy storage

4. Yard Cleanup & Landscaping $2500

To prepare the area for installation:

• Tree/Debris removal

• Ground leveling

• Mulch or soil

• Basic landscaping

5. GoFundMe Fees & Cushion $300

Covers platform fees and minor cost fluctuations
