Dear Family, Friends & Neighbors,

I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life. I’m currently going through a painful divorce, and the process has been especially hard because my 11-year-old son is at the heart of a long custody battle. For almost three years, I’ve been navigating the courts, doing everything I can to protect my son and provide him with a safe, loving home. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming, and now I’m facing one final court battle that I simply can’t afford. On top of this, I’m struggling to keep up with basic bills like rent, utilities, food, and WiFi, all while my van needs repairs has broken down and needs a new starter.

I’ve always been proud to call this community my home, and I’ve never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help. But as I worry about the possibility of losing our home and my custodial rights, I know I can’t do this alone. Your support will help me cover the legal costs for my final court date, keep a roof over our heads, and get my van back on the road so I can continue caring for my son.
