My name is James, and I am fighting to reconnect with my son Jai after Hancock County Juvenile Court fraudulently terminated my parental rights and adopted him out to foster parents. Jai was taken from me when he was just 2 years old, and I spent two and a half years battling in court to bring him home. Since his 5th birthday, I have not been able to see or speak to him. Jai is now 9, and he has a little sister and brother who miss him dearly and resemble him so much. The pain of being separated from Jai has been overwhelming, but I am determined to keep fighting for our family.
To bring attention to the corruption by Hancock County CPS and seek justice, I am organizing a peaceful protest rally in Findlay, Ohio. The tentative date for the rally is May 4th, 2026, but it could be pushed back if needed to ensure the best turnout and support. The funds raised will help cover the cost of chartering a bus from Atlanta for 50-60 volunteers, as well as providing shirts, signs, tents, food, water, and preparing court evidence dossiers that show the fraud that occurred. We have the opportunity for media coverage from Channel 13 ABC, which could help us get the attention of the Attorney General and Governor. This rally is not just about my family—it’s about standing up for justice and making sure Jai knows he is loved and not forgotten. Brandy and I were coparenting at the time and I was not aware of him being taken. When I contacted Hancock County CPS I was given the run around and lied and manipulated to for 14 months before they established paternity via DNA test. I have emails, pictures, court recordings exposing fraud and perjury. Appealed the parental rights termination at both the district and state level and both appeals were denied. Now I need the power of the people to shed light on this corruption and bring justice to my family and the other families this County has traumatized.
I am asking for your support in any way you can offer. Please consider joining us at the rally, sharing our story to help spread the word, or making a donation to help make this possible. Your kindness and support mean the world to me, Jai, and our entire family. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope back to our lives.
