Help James Roll His Way to the 2026 National Special Olympic Games!

Hi everyone!

We are beyond excited to share that James has been selected to represent Leinster in Bocce at the 2026 National Special Olympic Games, taking place from 18th–21st June 2026 — and we could not be more proud of him!

James is one of 17 athletes from Dundalk Special Olympics club who have been chosen to compete in a variety of sports, and it’s such a huge achievement for them all. The National Finals are only held every four years, and these upcoming games will be extra special, as they are the first National Games since 2018 — the 2022 games were unfortunately cancelled due to Covid. This makes 2026 an unforgettable moment for every athlete involved.

Like all competitors, each athlete is responsible for raising their own funds to cover the participation costs. It’s a big challenge — but with the support of family, friends, and our community, we know James can get there.

James has worked so hard, always showing determination, positivity, and a great sense of humour (even when bocce doesn’t go exactly as planned ). Now he has the chance to step onto the national stage and represent Leinster and his club with pride.
