Jamie was more than just a brilliant IT professional—he was a compassionate teammate, a mentor, and a friend to all who had the privilege of working with him. With a career spanning over 24 years in SUNY and 9 years as a close colleague to those at ITEC, James left an indelible mark across the SUNY community. He brought unmatched dedication, deep technical expertise, and an unwavering willingness to help others. Whether solving complex issues or simply lending a kind word, James made a difference—every single day.

He was extremely well respected by his peers and by the countless people he supported throughout his brilliant career. His integrity, humility, and quiet strength earned the admiration and gratitude of everyone he worked with. People didn’t just appreciate James—they truly thought the world of him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, James was a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind his beloved wife and two young children, who were the light of his life. In the wake of this tragic loss, we are rallying together to offer them the financial support they need during this incredibly difficult time.

This fund will go directly to his family to help with immediate needs and to provide some measure of financial stability as they begin to navigate life without him.
