My name is Jody Nixon, and my brother is James Nixon. He has

Cerebral palsy. He is the life of

The party, and my best friend. I'm sure many of you know him, have

Laughed with him, and know

How amazing he is.

A few months ago, his van that

Accommodates his electric

Chair was totaled by another

Driver. The insurance is covering the van only, and not what is needed to have the equipment to put James' chair in the van. We need help to Get him the equipment for the van so that he can do what we all take for granted.

Going to the store, going to

Dinner, traveling to new places

going to the shops, etc. His

electric chair are his legs, his

own way to move without help.

To have autonomy.

 

Without the van, he is stuck.
