Hi, we’re Jamaal and DaSharion.

This past year has been one of the most life-changing years of our lives. We welcomed our beautiful baby boy last year, and earlier this year, we became husband and wife. Our family is small, but our dreams are big — and right now, our biggest dream is giving our son a safe, stable, and loving home.

We’ve found the perfect place to make that dream come true — a beautiful, well-kept home in a developing neighborhood with so much potential for the future. This isn’t just any move for us — we will be first-time homebuyers, and for me (DaSharion), it’s even more special because I will be the first person on my side of the family to ever own a home. This is more than a purchase; it’s a milestone we can pass down to our son.

We can already picture him taking his first steps across the living room, playing in the yard on warm summer days, and growing up surrounded by a supportive community.

But life threw us a curveball. Jamaal suffered an injury that forced him to stop working, and while I’ve been working full-time and just completed my college program, we’ve been doing everything we can to keep moving forward. Between closing costs and the final touches needed to make the home move-in ready for our family, we’ve hit a financial wall.

We’re not asking for extravagance — just a chance to secure this home so our son can grow up with stability, safety, and love all around him. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward closing costs and essential updates to make the house truly ours.
