Jakob is one of eight children in our family. He is a smart, caring boy at heart, but he has been struggling with serious emotional and behavioral challenges. These struggles have led to unsafe choices — breaking things, taking items that don’t belong to him, and acting out in ways that hurt himself and others.

As a family, we have done everything we can to help, but he needs more support than we can provide at home. After searching for answers, we found Alice Blount Academy, a therapeutic boarding school that specializes in helping kids like him. This program offers the structure, therapy, and guidance he needs to learn healthy coping skills, respect boundaries, and get on the right path for his future.

The tuition is $4,000 per month, which is far more than we can afford on our own. Our goal is to raise enough to cover his first few months of placement so that he has the chance to get started. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving him the opportunity to turn his life around.
